Some Unexpected Snow

I woke up this morning to a light blanket of snow outside!! I really wasn't expecting it... at all!!! YAY!!! So I decided to take my **birthday day off** today, since my birthday is Sunday. I plan to knit after I finish this post, but it might be short!! LoL

Amy wanted to know what I was going to knit next, after my Thank You For Not Smoking Socks. I knit another square for my Sampler Afghan!!! You can find the pattern for this square right here!!

I finished it in two days. I cast on (twice) on Monday and finished it on Tuesday (last night), while watching 24 on the Tivo with Erik and Shannon.

I then started the Cursed Sweater (aka Crystal Palace Yarns - Cameo Easy Aran Cable Unisex Pullover). I'm calling it the Cursed Sweater because it is for Erik. Am I pushing my luck, or what!?!?

I also have another Sampler Afghan square picked out, but I don't want to get too burned out on making them, especially since Project Spectrum hasn't *officially* started.

Did I mention that I am going on a cruise at the end of the month?? No icy weather for a week... I hope, LoL!!!! It is kind of like a multiple celebration trip. We are going for Erik's graduation, my birthday, and Mom's birthday. My aunt is going just so she can play with Mom. I can't wait!! Does anyone know if they sell yarn in Grand Cayman or Cozumel??
