Oh Baby!

No... It's not what you think. I have a friend that is having a baby girl this fall. That means baby knitting. I wasn't going to knit anything, but Elizabeth Zimmermann's Baby Surprise (ravelry / knitwiki) came to me in a dream. Seriously....

So Ashley's Baby Surprise has been cast on in Caron Simply Soft. I am going to use the same color combination as Mom's Scarf that I made her for Christmas a few of years ago.

I've also almost finished one side of my GREEN Grocery Getter #3. I kept losing my place in the pattern stitch when I would put it down and pick it back up later.

And in case you haven't heard, Secret Pal 12 signups have started! I have signed up and paid my $2.50! I can't wait! The only thing that sucks is that I can't make a quick run to Simpatico anymore for SP goodies.

As for everything else, my blog posts might be sporadic (again) for the next week or two. Erik's grandfather is not doing well, so we will be handling that. Keep him in your prayers.
