I finished
Kia Kia's border last night. Eventhough the pattern called for it, I felt horrible for dropping the center stitch all the way down... 800 stitches. It looks really cool, but I still got that sick feeling like I was doing something wrong!!! BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!

While I was at work today, I had time to sew the ends together, pick up 400 stitches, and work the first round of the body.
From what I can tell, the rest of this is knit all in one piece. No more seaming, just picking up stitches if I decide to improvise some sleeves.
I'm off to enjoy the rain and play with some yarn!!
Oh! Amy! That is Erik's nephew,
the one-boy sand castle demolition expert!
