Skidmarks! LoL

I have finished the first of my Thank You For Not Smoking Socks. I really like how the color twists down the leg, but I could do without the color-change-skidmark down the top of the foot. Oh well. These knit up really fast after I finished the leg. I think I knit 10 rows of leg, and all the way down through the gussets and foot yesterday. I finished the toe and grafted it this morning.

I think I am beginning to prefer knitting to the smoking section at restaurants, also! So far this week, I have knit at TGI Fridays, Hoffbrau, IHOP, and Haltom Chinese!! LoL Instead of picking up a smoke, I pick up my knitting. It's a fair trade, I think. As you can see in the picture, Mimi could care less.

For my ONE WEEK GOAL, I got to spend $20 on yarn, and I did. I bought 1 ball of Patons Classic Merino Wool in Winter White (for Project Spectrum) and 8 balls of Bernat Softee Chunky in Soft Taupe for the sweater I plan on making for Erik. I'm gonna run him off one way or another (grumpiness or the boyfriend sweater)!! LoL

For those that might be interested, I am listing a few Dooney & Bourke and Kathy Van Zeeland purses on Ebay.

Congradulations! I would love to see the whole sock, even though Mimi could use it as a lil sleeping bag - You should make each of the girls a sleeping bag!
